Facet5 is one of the most modern and advanced measures of personality available today. Used by organisations and consultancies worldwide, Facet5 harnesses the power of personality, supporting individuals, teams and businesses to realise their full potential.
Facet5 provides a simple model and a common language to explain how people differ in their behaviour, motivation and attitudes, and more importantly, what can be achieved.
Basic characteristics
Facet5 as an online platform was developed in response to client demand for speedy, practical information to assist with decision making at each stage of an employees’ journey through an organization.
Available in 34 different languages, Facet5 is jargon-free, and web-based for easy access all over the world. A wide range of country and industry norm groups makes meaningful comparisons simple. Facet5 works with organizations to design and implement solutions that solve not only business problems but harness opportunities and realize potential.
It is build on the five-factor model of personality (or ‘Big 5’) that is now widely accepted as the best way of describing the fundamental building blocks of personality. The ‘Big 5’ model consistently emerges from psychological research as the irreducible minimum needed to give a comprehensive description of personality and behaviour.
Facet5 measures these five factors precisely and quickly to give the most accurate and easily applied portrait of individual differences in behaviour.
Whole lifecycle approach
Facet5 is easily and effectively applied across the entire employee lifecycle. From selection through to separation and exit, Facet5 engages the individual, the leader and organization with a range of comprehensive insights. Whether building a team, integrating a new hire or looking at organizational culture, Facet5 works with individuals, teams and organizations to realize their full potential.

Individual modules and their scope
Audition: A role definition survey, which when combined with an individual Facet5 profile, produces a role/person fit template and a corresponding behavior-based event interview guide. The role is defined using Audition prior to recruitment. Shortlisted candidates take the Facet5 survey and the two outputs are then combined to produce a behavior-based interview guide. This unique approach supports all sound recruitment and selection decision-making. Suitable as an Assessment Center support.
TeamScape: Process that uses Facet5 behavioral profiles combined together for team development purposes. The combination of individual data sets and a team collaboration methodology means Teamscape demonstrates team dynamics powerfully and succinctly. It clearly shows the culture of the team, how relationships are likely to work, and how the work will be managed and delivered.
Leading Edge: Shows the manager what approach toward an individual motivates them towards the best performance.
Searchlight: Brings an overview of the strongest aspects of the individual and its impact on the organization.
Work Preferences: Brings an overview of the key motivators and influences for career planning.
Strategic Leadership Review (SLR): Process that combines both a Facet5 behavioral profile and a 360-degree behavioral review, in a plain language, easy-to-read report. It is used to predict the strengths of managers and provide further recommendations for developing their leadership skills.
BackDrop: Process, which helps define both the ‘current state’ and the ‘ideal state’ of organizational or team culture. It combines a survey on how the organization sees itself and how it would like to be seen, with the personality data of those likely to lead the change, in order to understand how the transformation is likely to take place. It allows you to prepare for the changes that the market brings, and to determine what people you need, how to develop them, to achieve the company’s goals and market competitiveness.
